Today we’re excited to release one of the most requested behind-the-scenes features to our user interface. Reveal Mobile customers can now easily build audience segments for geotargeting based upon the audience’s home location.
Want to reach users that live within five miles of two auto dealers? Yep – build that mobile audience in our user interface and serve ads against it.
According to a recent survey published by Digiday and Factual, digital marketers view geographic segmentation by home and work location as one of the greatest strengths of mobile audience targeting. Based upon how our customers use location based advertising, we see the same emphasis on location data for these types of campaigns.
A real-life example: WRAL worked with Intrepid Marketing to create geotargeted mobile ads for Park West Village in Cary, NC. They used Reveal Mobile’s data to build an audience of anyone living within 2 miles of the shopping center. The ad performance nearly doubled over non-targeted ads.
