Reveal Mobile Expands Point-of-Interest Database With Canadian Businesses

July 29, 2019 by Reveal Mobile

In response to growing demand, Reveal Mobile, a leader in location-based marketing and foot traffic attribution, announces the expansion of their proprietary “Point of Interest” (POI) database to now include Canadian businesses. With this release, agencies and brands focused on advertising in Canada now enjoy the same powerful location-based analytics, audiences, and foot traffic attribution reporting that US businesses currently have. Agencies who have previously only worked with clients within the US can now expand their reach and services into Canada.

The foundation of all location-based marketing and analytics is an accurate point-of-interest database. This requires both precise building footprints, in order to be able to match audiences to the locations they visit, as well as up-to-date business information such as business name, hours, and category. The point of interest database powering Reveal Mobile’s VISIT Local platform provides both types of data, with the flexibility to bring multiple best-in-class data sources to ensure the highest degree of accuracy.

Reveal Mobile customer Drako Media was previously undertaking significant manual effort to build location-based audiences for their Canadian clientele.

“Reveal Mobile’s upgraded POI database and VISIT Local platform streamlined our process, saving us time and money,“ says CEO Laurent Elkaim. “Their privacy-compliant data and analytics increases the impact we can make with our clients and their business.”

“Building and maintaining an industry leading POI database requires a lot of hard work on the part of our engineers and product team, but it’s a powerful differentiator for us in the digital ecosystem,” says Brian Handly, Reveal Mobile’s CEO. He continues, “Launching in Canada means we can bring our expertise to even more companies, supporting their efforts to better understand and reach their target market.”
