Reveal Mobile Joins DPAA to Drive Out-of-Home Industry into Digital Future
The out-of-home industry is undergoing a state of transformation with the advent of digital out-of-home (DOOH). When you fill up your car with gas, wait for your flight at the gate, drive by a digital billboard, or wait for your train in the subway, you’re likely experiencing DOOH media.
Reveal Mobile has joined the Digital Place Based Advertising Association (DPAA) as a member to help advertisers take advantage of these new forms of media through location data and location based marketing.
According to Barry Frey, DPAA President & CEO, “Reveal Mobile, through its VISIT platform, has quickly emerged as a leader for geotargeting and location-based analytics, two areas that are helping to fuel the rapid growth of the OOH industry.”
Through a variety of programs, events and educational opportunities, DPAA fosters collaboration between advertisers, agencies, ad-tech, and location data providers. The association also conducts industry research to provide standards and best practices centered on the effectiveness of digital place based advertising.
Reveal Mobile recently worked with mobilads, an out-of-home advertising agency, to help them measure viewership of ads placed on rideshare vehicles. mobilads worked with a major consumer-brand client to advertise on the vehicles with the goal of getting people to their mobile stores in Atlanta and Houston. Reveal Mobile gave mobilads the ability to measure the exposure and the number of impressions on the OOH ad placements, which were constantly on the move. See the full story.
